Mike Brown Scholarships

About the Scholarships

Mike Brown Scholarships were created to help state conservation agency employees attend the NASCA Annual Meeting. Preference is given to first-time meeting attendees and state agency staff with travel funding restrictions.

The Requirements:

  • Applicants must be employed by a state government conservation agency
  • $1,000 maximum per request (and per state)
  • All requests MUST be submitted by the deadline*
  • Reimbursement will be made following the meeting once travel receipts are provided

About Mike Brown

Mike Brown served as NASCA’s executive director from 2010-2022. Prior to that he led the Delaware state conservation agency and served two terms as NASCA’s President. Mike helped introduce countless staff to the association during his service.
