| Maryland has 2 programs that producers can use for marketing. Farm Stewardship Certification and Assessment Program (FSCAP) –It is run by the MD Assoc of SCDs. They review farms looking at soil conservation and water quality plans, compliance w/nutrient mgt plans & assuring no resource concerns go untreated. | The staff of the Colorado State conservation Board provides training to all conservation district managers and clerks. At this time we target meeting with all new employees for an orientation within 60 days of hire. We then follow up every few weeks for the next few months. We are currently developing District manager training materials in addition to our online reference manual and supervisor certification program and are reviewing how to incorporate them. | |||||

| The notice of filing period legal notices are scheduled to begin here in Oklahoma during the next couple weeks for conservation District elections. Our election process is laid out in statute and rule and require a legal notice be published twice between certain dates notifying people of the upcoming filing period in May.
