Has your state conservation agency met with your state's elected federal delegation (or staff) during the past year? If so, what issues were discussed, and what was the outcome of the dialogue?
Oklahoma met with all the delegation during the virtual fly in. Discussed NRCS funding, watershed program, EPA 319 success stories, and reauthorization of the Abandon Mine Lands Program. Have spoken again with staff on McGirt ruling and effect on AML program. Speak regularly with Lucas and Inhofe staff.
I met with delegation along with KACD and NRCS partners during virtual fly-in. Discussed NRCS issues staffing and funding, NACD topics in general.
We have met with a few of the staffers to discuss potential forest management issues and drought related items.
