ARPA Funds for State Conservation Agencies

Hi All,

As many of you know, states and local governments are in the process of allocating America Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
Congress has allocated Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds that totals $350 billion to eligible state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments. Treasury on ARPA funds

I am looking to see if any State Conservation Agencies are receiving funds as part of the State Allocation. Funds can be used for a variety of things related to Covid and Climate Change. We are looking at funds for Food Security/Climate Resiliency focusing on soil health, farm energy programs, and farm climate resiliency programs (water supply).

Thanks,
Denise Savageau, Chair
CT Council on Soil and Water Conservation
