The Outstanding State Conservationist Award is given each year to a state conservationist who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and partner engagement.
NRCS State Conservationists are nominated by NASCA members, along with support from partner organizations.
The Outstanding State Conservationist Award is an award given each year to a state conservationist who has shown exceptional service to the National Association of State Conservation Agencies (NASCA). NRCS State Conservationists are nominated by members, along with support from partner organizations. We encourage State Conservation Agencies to work with their state partners in submitting nominations.
This award is presented during an NRCS National Leadership Team (NLT) meeting.
