NASCA members discuss the best practices for programs, operations and communications from across the nation that were adopted by state conservation agencies and conservation districts during the pandemic. What changed and will be continue to be utilized in a new way of doing conservation and state agency business.
NASCA President Bill Smith announced on May 31st that NASCA has hired Mike Beacom of Amherst Junction, Wisconsin as the organization’s new Executive Director. Mike has served as Forestry Specialist for the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) for the last 20+ years, and has represented NACD on the Joint Forestry Team for the past twelve years.
Conservation Districts delivering effective conservation programs & services when not co-located in a USDA Service Center. Examples, tips and recommendations from across the nation from conservation district leaders that have been operating their districts in their facilities separated from NRCS.
